Today I received my first Ipsy Glam Bag in the mail. For those of you who may not of heard of them, Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for beauty products from top cosmetics brands. For $10 US a month (It cost me about $20 Canadian) you receive a makeup bag with about 5 deluxe or full-sized samples. When you sign up you're asked to fill out a questionnaire about your skin type/tone, eye and hair color and what your style/makeup preferences are, so they can specially tailor a bag just for you. Ipsy offer a  rewards program for reviewing the products that you get, as well as referring friends to join. The points can be redeemed for bonus items that they will send to you with your next glam bag.


My Glam Bag arrived in an unmarked, metallic, hot pink mailer bag, with my first bag (with the cutest little lip shaped zipper pull) full of  beauty samples. Here is what I got: (all prices are in US dollars)

Peter Lamas claims to moisturize for up to 24 hours as well as renew and protect your hands, is vegan, cruelty-free and has no parabens or sulfates.

Overall,I am impressed with this collection of samples and I am looking forward to testing them all out.
