There is nothing more I hate than having dry, cracked hands due to the joys of winter, well maybe
sticky or greasy hands after applying lotion. So I am always up for trying out any new product that comes my way.

The Peter Lamas Spa Sensuals Hand Cream that I received in my December Ipsy Glam Bag,
was the perfect size to toss into my handbag without taking up tons of room, and the screw on cap put an end to the unwanted mess that always seems to  happen. 



It absorbed into my skin quite quickly and left my hands feeling silky smooth and soft. Even after burning my palm taking a pan out of the oven the night before the cream did not irritate me. But I did notice a weird cold tingling sensation after 2 applications, but went away after a used it more. I washed a sink full of dishes and my hands still felt moisturized afterwards. This product does have a light pleasant citrus smell. which I really do love.

I have a slight addiction to lip balms. Pots, sticks, tints, flavored I must have them all. So when a family member came across Lierac Paris (French dermo-cosmetic brand that specializes in anti-aging products)  Hydra Chrono+ levres, she had to buy a second one just for me to try out. There are two versions of the melt-in balms, there is the pink tinted Rose and a non-tint Transparent. I received the rose.


I was delighted by the feminine pink mirrored tube, so elegant. It felt like I was putting lipstick on, I guess it sort of is with it's plumping action, pearlescent effect and color pigment boost, a slight pink hue, that will customize itself to each individual skin tone,  It is perfect for my daytime make-up routine when I want to go with a more natural look.


Hydra Chrono+ levres left my lips feeling soft, smooth and moisturized due to the vitamins A, E and F, the ceramides, shea and cocoa butters and rose wax, which makes the balm have a light rosy scent.  And I  like that my skin is protected with the  SPF 10 that is added into the formula.


Would I buy this product for myself. No, I find that the product does not last as long as I would like on my lips. The color bleeds out onto the stick, If I didn't know any better I would think somebody elts had been using it with another lipstick. It is pricey at least $19.00us and I can't seem to find Lierac's Hydra Chrono+ levres here in Canada anyways.

Overall,I am impressed with this collection of samples and I am looking forward to testing them all out.

What did you get in your December Ipsy Glam Bag?

With winter finally here I have to deal with dry, stressed out  and sensitive skin on a daily basis. So I opt for soothing, moisturizing products that calm my skin. I received a sample of Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion last month so I thought I would giving it a try.

The company claims that their product is fragrance free, non-greasy,  non–irritating and long-lasting relief for normal to dry skin. Over three days of applying it to my hands I found that it was a little sticky at first, but not overwhelming. The formula was not greasy, went on smoothly  and did absorb quit quickly into my hands, but I did find that there was a very light synthetic barely noticeable smell when I smelled my hands, but did not last long afterwards.

In my final opinion Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion moisturizes well, lasts for a decent amount of time and would make a great everyday face and body lotion at a decent price.
